Isela Ibarra, M.D.

Dr. Isela Ibarra is a native of El Paso and attended Hanks High School. She received her BA in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and went on to graduate from medical school at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in 2001. Dr Ibarra completed her pediatric residency in 2004 at the Children’s Hospital of Austin, now the Dell Children’s Medical Center. Following graduation she remained as a hospitalist for two years before moving back to El Paso to be closer to family.

She has been in private practice since 2006 and is licensed by the Texas State Medical Board and is a Board Certified Pediatrician. She is also licensed in Neonatal Resuscitation.

Dr. Ibarra is married and has two young children and two dogs. She enjoys spending her free time bike riding, reading and laughing with her kids.



Angelica Machorro, M.D. FAAP

Angelica Machorro M.D., F.A.A.P. is a third-generation El Pasoan. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, she obtained her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Science Center. She completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

In 2006, Dr. Machorro returned to El Paso to work in private practice. Dr. Machorro’s passion for her medical practice is driven by the bonds she builds with her patients and their parents over the course of their lives.

In addition to her pediatric practice, Dr. Machorro serves on the Board of Directors for the Center Against Sexual and Family Violence (CASFV). She has also served on the Board of Directors for LIMBS International.

Dr. Machorro is married and has two young boys. She actively participates in their school PTA. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking and outdoor activities.

Maria Prodanovic-Nutis M.D. FAAP

Dr. Maria Prodanovic-Nutis received her medical degree from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in 2004, and completed her residency training in pediatrics at the UT Southwestern Children's Medical Center of Dallas in 2007.

Dr. Prodanovic maintains her board certification with the American Board of Pediatrics. She was an associate professor of pediatrics at the Texas Tech School of Medicine in El Paso before moving into private practice, where she enjoys supporting her patients and their families through their childhood.

Dr. Prodanovic spends her free time with her husband and son, and volunteering in the community with various charitable organizations, including the PTA, and the Junior League of El Paso as President 2019-2020.
